Pajama Day/Grace's Birthday Party at School

Today was the last day of school before the Christmas break
and it was also the day before Grace's REAL birthday.

I got to tag along because it was Grace's special helper day.
She held the flag during the flag salute, did the weather report....

- it was foggy -

she got to pick out a special song for the class to sing
and she got to bring an extra special birthday treats for her class.

Grace took about 0.2 seconds to decide she wanted to bring chocolate donuts!

All the kids got to wear their jammies to school. Grace wore some very special PJs from Grandma. It was real party - complete with popcorn and a Christmas movie! The kids were transfixed...for about 45 minutes.

Then it was time to play!

This is "B" - the only boy Grace has ever talked to me about.
She says he is really funny!
Dad says, "Uh - oh!"

Grace spent most of playtime with another little girl just giggling and having the time of their lives!
It was heart warming to watch.
"B" provided lots of entertainment...thanks to the donuts, perhaps? :)

All in all, it was an extra special day and a great way to kick off Christmas vacation!
